The newest version of Dynamics GP has just been released and it’s called GP 18 (the successor to GP 2018) and it’s full of new functionality and changes. Tops on the list of enhancements is support for 1099-NEC. There are also additional enhancements including expanded description fields for Journal Entries, ability to import and export inventory stock counts from and to Excel, credit card imports and other new enhancements and features.

For more details on what is included in this latest GP release, view the following document GP 18.3. In order to install this latest 18.3 release update, customers first need to be on Dynamics GP 2018.

Also, please remember that if you’re running payroll or need the important 1099 updates, you don’t need to upgrade to GP 18.3, as there are also updates for your GP 2016 or GP 2018 that include the Year-end updates. As you may have seen in previously posts, there will no longer be Year-end updates for GP 2015 or earlier.
